More snow in the south!

We are all anxiously awaiting the snow storm that is supposed to be coming our way here in Georgia.  I've been to the grocery store for the required bread and milk.  I don't think I've ever needed the bread and milk when we've had snow before but it's just what we do.  The south is not prepared for snow storms and if we get ice on top of the snow it'll be bad. I hope we don't lose power but just in case, since we are on a well no power means no water, we will fill up the bathtub and large bottles with water. We have a wood stove so staying warm isn't a problem and a gas stove so I'll be able to cook(yipee).

Because I had snow on the brain I did this treasury on Etsy.  It was inspired by the Robert Frost poem Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening.

  1. Gorgeous treasury, Willow! I hope you're staying safe in the snow. We'll get a bit in Central NY tonight; if the kids are really lucky, they'll have a school delay. What is it about buying bread and milk before a storm? LOL, it makes me think that everyone is making french toast during the storm.

  2. It always makes me laugh, too. I don't even drink milk! And rarely make french toast. I do eat a PB and J sandwich occasionally. We got out in the 4 wheel drive truck today to check out the roads and it was bad, and will freeze tonight. Soo ready for spring!

  3. We don't have any snow here in Florida. I think we are the only state that doesn't, but we stock up too when we think a hurricane is coming. Not that we need anything really but like you say...it's what we do.
    Stay safe. Stay warm.
