Wedding at my house

Well, here it is the end of May and this is what I have been doing for the last month.
My daughter and her fiancee built this back in Feb and March from old salvaged timbers out of an old warehouse

My sister and I made bows and bows and bows, with white tulle and satin ribbon.
She was such a help.  I couldn't have done it without her.

Purple iris, statice, lisianthus and larkspur, all purple

An new deck project that almost didn't get finished

My son in his uniform and me(who is that old lady?)

The favor table(wine stoppers made be guess who?) and all the guests were to sign the
wooden letter "G".  The roses were putting on a show.

She was beautiful and the dress was perfect

Her father walking her out.  We had the "aisle" lined with shepherd's hooks
and mason jars with white flowers

One happy girl and relieved parents!

The weather was so iffy the week before and the construction project barely got done in time.  We had days of rain.  But the day of wedding, sunshine!!!

We had the reception in the backyard complete with a dance floor and DJ.  Lots of dancing!

It was good have my son and his family here, too.

Now that it is over, I have free time on my hands.  I plan on being in the studio as much as I want!  I'm not quite ready to tackle the garden yet but maybe by the fall I'll be able to dig in the dirt.

I hope you enjoyed the tour!
