In the garden

Finally, a day that's not blistering hot!  Overcast and 80 degrees feels so much better than sunny and 94.  I got outside to plant some things that had been sitting around in pots for days waiting patiently to be put in the ground.  A Knock Out rose and some canna lilies into a new garden spot that gets full day sun.


I'm in the middle of a DIY project.  I'm stripping layers of paint off 2 old vintage 50's aluminum chairs for the back yard.  I uncovered layers of aqua, then white and then red before bare metal.  They'll be finished in a metallic blue when I'm done.
